Passed M.P. in 2006. Can the student get admission into Class XI in 2010?

 
Ans: No, a student will be admitted into class XI of a recognised Institution within three academic sessions from the date of publication of his/her result of M.P. / equivalent examination.
 
Passed Madhyamik Examination from Board of Secondary Education, Assam with FL> ASMS, SL> ENG in 2009. Can the student get admission into Class XI in the Institution recognised by W.B.C.H.S.E. in 2010?
 
Ans: Yes.

I) The student will submit Migration Certificate to Institution during admission and it will later be submitted to the Council

II) The student will have to apply to the Council through the Head of the Institution for offering ASMS as non–taught subject within 31st August of the academic year in which he/she is admitted into class XI.
 
Passed M.P. in 2009 from Rabindra Mukta Open Schooling. Result published in the month of October,09. Can the student get admission into Class XI in 2009-2010 session?
 
Ans: No, last date of admission into class XI of  recognised Institution is 31st August of the Academic session of class XI.
 

Admitted into class XI in a recognised Institution of Malda in 2008. Did not pass/ appear in class XI Annual Examination. Now, Father / Guardian has been transferred to Jalpaiguri. Can the student be admitted into class XI of a recognised Institution in  Jalpaiguri in 2009?

 
Ans: Yes, with same subject combination within 30th November of the academic session with prior permission from the Council on the basis of Transfer Certificate obtained from the previous Institution along with detail report of his/her attendance, whether he/she has applied to the Council for registration certificate (duly counter signed by the concerned D.I. of Schools or by the concerned authority).
 
Passed class XI Annual Examination from an Institution of Orissa. Now, Father / Guardian has been transferred to Coochbehar, West Bengal. Can the student be admitted into class XII of a recognised Institution in Coochbehar?
 
Ans: Yes, with same subject combination within 31st July of the academic session with prior permission from the Council on the basis of Transfer Certificate obtained from the previous Institution along with detail report of his/her attendance, Progress Report of of class XI Annual Examination duly countersigned by the concerned D.I. of Schools or by the concerned authority and the Migration Certificate in original.
 
Admitted into class XI of a recognised Institution in 2007. Did not pass in the Annual Examination in 2008 and did not appear in Annual Examination in 2009.
Can the student be re-admitted into class XI in 2009-10 session?
 
Ans: Yes, within 31st August of the academic session. Please be noted that in case of discontinuance of study, before expiry of three consecutive academic sessions he/ she may resume study provided the Head of Institution condone discontinuance.
 
Disallowed in test examination in 2007. Discontinued study in 2007-08 and  2008-09 session. Can the student be re-admitted into class XII in 2009-10 session?
 
Ans: Yes, within 31st July of the academic session. Please be noted that in case of discontinuance of study, before expiry of three consecutive academic sessions he/ she may resume study provided the Head of Institution condone discontinuance.
 
The student is a citizen of Nepal and passed School Leaving Certificate Examination from Nepal. Can he/she be admitted in class XI of a recognised Institution in West Bengal?
 
Ans: Yes, with prior permission from the Council along with original copy of Migration Certificate and  permission from the Royal Consulate of Nepal. Necessary papers related to the result of student should be attached to determine equivalence.
 
The student is a citizen of  India and passed School Leaving Certificate Examination from Nepal. Can he/she be admitted in class XI of a recognised Institution in West Bengal?
 
Ans: Yes, with prior permission from the Council along with original copy of Migration Certificate and residential certificate of India issued by the local Municipality or Zilla Parishad where the student belongs to. Necessary  papers related to the result of the student should be submitted to determine equivalence. A student must have passed Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination with English and Science subjects in order to get admission in Class XI under this council.
 
Passed final examination of class X from I.C.S.E. with English as 1st Language. Can the student be offered Alternative English into H.S. level of a recognised Institution?
 
Ans: Yes, provided that the student offers English as 1st Language , he/she is allowed to study Alternative English as Non-taught subject with due permission from the Council.
 
Passed final examination of class X from I.C.S.E. with English as 1st Language, Bengali as 2nd Language. Can the student be offered Bengali as 1st language and English as 2nd Language into H.S. level of a recognised Institution?
 

Ans: Yes.

 
Lost Migration Certificate - What to get a duplicate Migration Certificate?
 
Ans: A student is to apply in the prescribed application form enclosing a document testifing that the Migration Certificate has not been produced to the concerned University / Board togeher with a police diary.

How to be corrected?
 
Ans: Submit application to the Deputy Secretary of the respective regional office along with school's copy of the form and proof for attending classes in the subject claimed.
Such correction required to be made before Annual Examination (XI).
 
Photo not matched with that of the candidate or mismatched with another candidate. How to make correction?
 
Ans: Submit application to the Deputy Secretary of the respective regional office along with school's copy of the form pasting passport size photograph of the candidate/s concerned.
 
Signature not matched with that of the candidate or mismatched with another candidate. How to make correction?
 
Ans: Submit application to the Deputy Secretary of the respective regional office along with school's copy of the form pasting passport size photograph of the candidate/s concerned and signed properly in specified area of the form.

Ans: Please contact at the Regional Office with Dispute List signed duly by the Headmaster of the concerned institution.
 
Passed Madhyamik Examination in 2009.Applied for Registration Certificate in due time. In the Registration Confirmation List “Dispute” has been written in case of year of passing mentioning “0000”. What to do?
 
Ans: The phrase the year of passing “0000” has to be cut through by pen in Registration Confirmation List and actual year of passing has to be written. An attested xerox copy of mark sheet of Madhyamik Examination has to be attached.

What’s the procedure of name/ surname correction in Admit Card?
 
Ans: To fill-up form for correction and submit at the respective Regional Office of the Council along with attested xerox copy of  Registration Certificate issued by the Council. Original Admit Card has to be brought for correction before H.S. Examination or date mentioned at the backside of the Admit Card.

Fee:  Nil up to 31st Dec. of the year of issue
         Rs. 20 / beyond 31st Dec. of the year of issue
 
Name not printed in the Pre-printed Enrolment Form. How to fill up form?
 
Ans: If the student is eligible, name will have to be incorporated in the blank form provided by the Council. Xerox copy can be used.
 
Subject not printed as per Registration Certificate in the Admit Card. How to make correction?

Ans: Yes. A candidate is entitled to appear in H.S. Examination as a Continuing candidate till he passes or in subsequent H.S.Examination whichever is earlier. In the ......... case the candidate is .......... ti appear upto H.S. examination, 2010.
 
Failed in two subjects in H.S. Examination. Can that Special Candidate appear in all subjects?
 
Ans: Yes. (School authorities may obtain undertaking from such students to avoid any dispute in future)
 
Will a Continuing Candidate have to appear in ENVE subject in H.S.Examination?
 
Ans: Yes, both in project and theoretical examinations.
 
Will a Special Candidate have to appear in ENVE subject in H.S.Examination?
 
Ans: Yes, both in project and theoretical examinations if the candidate has failed in ENVE.
 
Graded "D" in ENGB and in optional elective subject. But in Mark sheet only ENGB has been mentioned as failed subject. Can I appear in both the subjects?
 
Ans: No, the candidate will appear only in ENGB in this case.
 
Passed in H.S. Examination, but not satisfied with result. Can result be surrendered?
 
Ans: If the student is declared PASS by interchanging the compulsory elective subject as the optional elective subject or vice versa , he/ she shall apply to the Council through his /her institution to surrender his/ her mark sheet and certificate within 30 days of publication of result.
In other cases prayer for surrender will not be accepted.
 
 
Result/Marksheet/Certificate
 
Appeared in all subjects in H.S. Examination. But, marks in Political Science not awarded in Mark sheet. What to do?
 
Ans: Apply to the Council through the Head of Institution along with report from the Centre Secretary and xerox attested copy of Admit Card.
 
Reported against for malpractice in H.S.Examination 2008. R.A. was exonerated with permission to appear in H.S. Examination in 2009 as Continuing Candidate. Accordingly filled up form in time. But Admit Card not received. What to do?
 
Ans: Apply to the Council through the Head of Institution along with office copy of form and R.A Exoneration letter.

Academic
 
The renewal of recognition of the institution was up to June 2009. Did not apply for renewal in time. How to apply?
 
Ans: Apply to the Council in the specific form to be bought from the Council at the cost of Rs. 15/. Late fine of Rs. 100/ has to be submitted along with the filled-up form. ( Rs 100/ each year is charged by the Council as late fine)
 
Where will one get up gradation form?
 
Ans: It is to be obtained from the office of the D.I. of school.
 
More than 300 students have applied for admission into class XI, whereas highest limit of admission is 275. What is the solution?
 
Ans: Resolve regarding the matter in the meeting of M.C. and apply to the Council along with infrastructural capacity, copy of M.C. resolution and demand from the students, if any.
 
Post of GEGR at H.S. Section has been sanctioned by Deptt. of School Education .  Want to convert into EDCN as GEGR teacher is already appointed earlier. Please advise.
 
Ans: Apply to the Council through D.I. of Schools (S.E.) along with copy of M.C. resolution and post sanctioning memo. The Council will issue N.O.C. only after proper observation of papers.
 
How a post is sanctioned?
 
Ans: Apply to The Dep’t of School Education, W.B. through D.I. of Schools (S.E.).
 

Want to introduce a new subject at H.S. Section. What is the procedure?

 
Ans: Apply to the Council along with the following documents:

I) MC Resolution Copy
II) Xerox attested copy of appointment, joining and approval letter of qualified teacher in the subject concerned in H.S.Section (If there is not qualified teacher in H.S.Section, N.O.C. of a qualified teacher(Hons/PG) of Normal Section along with attested xerox copy of joining and approval letter and educational qualifications)
III) Demand from students/ guardians (if any)
IV) D.I. inspection report regarding the presence of well-equipped Laboratory for introduction of Lab-based subject.
